Description

Mazzoni Center, Philadelphia’s LGBT Health and Wellness Center, is in need of an office aide for the Open Door Program. The Open Door behavioral health program provides high quality, profession therapy services to the LGBT communities in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.

The office aide will help with clerical functions such as copying, filing, stuffing envelopes, mailings and assembling information packets. This individual may also assist in posting and distributing new group announcements at various locations in the community. This is a great opportunity for those who want to work in a health and human services organization in a role with minimal patient/client contact and with minimal time commitment.

Skills:

• Comfort working with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, and sexual orientations/gender identities and presentations.
• Able to handle multiple tasks, have good collaborative and interpersonal skills, have problem solving and organizational skills.
• Friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
• Computer skills welcomed.
• Volunteer commitment of 3-4 hours a month, except when special events warrant additional hours.
