Sisterly L.O.V.E.

Sisterly L.O.V.E. (Leading Others Via Education) is a program facilitated by Mazzoni Center in collaboration with a community advisory board of area trans women, with the aim of developing leadership skills and building community among trans women/trans femmes in Philadelphia. We organize and build power around the self-identified needs of the community, host workshops and events, and conduct targeted street outreach to connent trans women with resources.  The goal of Sisterly L.O.V.E. is to increase the capacity of trans women in Philadelphia to organize around issues affecting their community.

Sisterly L.O.V.E. is a safer space for anyone that identifies along the trans feminine spectrum.

We meet on the first and third Friday of each month from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Washington West Project, 1201 Locust Street. Past workshops have included: self-defense, intergenerational dialogue, professional etiquette/resume-buidling, and "keeping our sisters safe."
