Dane is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson's School of Nursing. He has particular interest in working with the transgender/ gender variant communities. Dane has volunteered with Prevention Point Philadelphia and The TransHealth Information Project in the past as well as presenting at The TransHealth Conference and FORGE Forward. He frequently speaks to various schools of nursing and medicine as well as other non profits around the topic of transgender health care and sensitivity.
He is a member of ANAC (Association of Nurses in AIDS Care) and on the Education committee of GLMA (The Gay and Lesbian Medical Association) which works to organize a great deal of the programming offered at the annual conference.
Dane is currently adjunct faculty of the school of nursing at Thomas Jefferson University. |
