Biography
Dr. Robert Winn is medical director at the Community Health Center at Mazzoni Center, Philadelphia’s ONLY health center focused on the needs of the region’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender communities. He is currently a Soros Foundation Physician Advocacy Fellow, and is working on a project entitled “Eliminating Health Disparities for LGBT Youth in Philadelphia.” He is also a member of the faculty at Jefferson Medical College, in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. His special interest in the health disparities of LGBT communities is manifest in his lectures and seminars to the medical and lay communities, his research endeavors at Jefferson and his development of clinical programming at Mazzoni Center.
