Jack Cottom, LPC


Jack is a licensed professional counselor who has earned a Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University. He was trained in psychodynamic theoretical approach however incorporates techniques and interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectic behavior therapy. He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in many different environments including outpatient, residential, and community settings. He believes that everyone has the potential to become their best selves however sometimes fear, negative thinking, and negative past experiences can get in the way.  He aims to provide a safe place for individuals to work through difficult emotions and situations, to feel heard, feel free to express themselves, and to become their best selves.
