Professional Development Coordinator
Nay Petrucelli is proud to serve as the Professional Development Coordinator at the Mazzoni Center. He has worked as an educator in a wide range of community and juvenile justice settings, raising eyebrows from students across NYC and Illinois when he passionately argued in algebra’s defense as both useful and a good time. In graduate school, he was part of an interdisciplinary community development program where he researched the relationship between anti- sex trafficking legislation and juvenile arrests for prostitution. While in the Midwest for graduate school, Nay led transgender competency trainings for providers in Central Illinois and helped foster community for transgender Illinoisans. He has been active in LGBT community work since 2002 and has been attending the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference for years. Nay is thrilled to have the opportunity to mix his education, policy, and LGBT background in providing trainings for Philadelphia-area organizations and in coordinating the logistics for the Professional Track of the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference.
