The 32nd Annual AIDS Walk Philly will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Eakins Oval at the foot of the Philadelphia Art Museum steps. We walk and organize teams because the fight against HIV and AIDS is not over. The funds raised from the walk provide essential and emergency support to our patients and clients. Mazzoni Center is deeply grateful to the AIDS Fund and to all of the past and current walkers that make our emergency grants to our clients in need possible. Between January 2017 and June 2018, Mazzoni Center’s clients have received over $37,000 in mini-grants that assisted some of the most vulnerable people living with HIV to improve their health.
We invite you and your friends, family, and co-workers to join us this year for the AIDS Walk so that we can improve the health and the lives of those living with HIV. Every dollar raised goes to directly provide emergency grants to individuals who are served by a certified and approved HIV services organization such as Mazzoni Center.
To become a Walk Leader, please reach out to Perry Monastero ([email protected]) or Kelly Medlock ([email protected]) by October 12. To either lead a team or walk as an individual and be a part of the Mazzoni Center Team (Team 0012), visit the Mazzoni Center AIDS Walk Registration page by clicking the button below.
We will have Mazzoni Center T-shirts for all who participate, a group photo, and we will start the AIDS Walk together at the base of the Rocky Statue on Sunday morning, October 21.
We hope to see you there!
