Kids Camp is a program of the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference for children ages 5-11. Facilitated by teaching staff of My Bright Beginnings Preschool, Kids Camp is a safe and fun space for children to create, explore, and play while parents attend conference workshops.

The Brave Schools LEAD Conference is an annua conference held by LGBTQ student leaders to empower youth and staff from GSAs and schools across Philadelphia. The conference gives K-12 School staff, students and community partners the opportunity to build community, share resources and knowledge, and create safer middle and high school environments for LGBTQ youth.
On April 30, Mazzoni Center’s longest tenured employee, Minerva Caro, Director of Operations, retired, after nearly 23 years with the center. Before she left, we caught up with her to talk about her time with us.

We are pleased to announce Anneliese A. Singh will be the Professional Track Keynote Speaker at the 2019 Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference, to be held this year July 25-27 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia.

Following a month-long application and search process, Mazzoni Center has selected the new Interdisciplinary Review Committee (IRC) for the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference. A team of queer and trans staff of color, including the conference logistics team and leaders of trans programming at Mazzoni Center, reviewed applications and conducted interviews with many qualified candidates. The resulting group of trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming community members represents a diverse set of ages, identities, experiences, and geographic locations.
