Adolescent drop-in clinic
Every Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. our Adolescent Drop-In program offers young people (aged 14 to 24) walk-in access to medical care and social services at our family practice, located at 809 Locust Street. No appointment or insurance is required.
Our goal is to provide a “one-stop” healthcare and wellness experience for youth, who are able to access basic medical care, speak with a case manager or other social service provider about housing, education, vocational training, referrals to counseling and mental health services, legal issues and other concerns. Our system allows patients to have multiple needs met in one visit and under one roof.
Our drop-in team consists of clinicians, case managers, a benefits counselor, medical assistants, and a HIV/STI testing counselor. From time to time we bring in other staff or outside service providers to share information about potentially helpful resources for local youth.
Other services include: food, public transit tokens, hygiene kits, assistance with benefit applications and housing, mental health, education and vocational referrals. Legal, dental and vocational referrals are also available. Drop in any Wednesday to find out more!
Please note that drop-in services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving at 4:45 p.m. to ensure you will be seen.
All medical visits are confidential for patients over 18. Patients under 18 can receive confidential care regarding sexual and mental health without parental permission. Due to the volume of patients at drop-in, we highly recommend arriving before 6:30 p.m. to ensure you are seen.
