TRIP Testing Night

  • Members of the TRIP Community Advisory Board at Wash West
Every first Friday of the month from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, Mazzoni Center’s The Real Impact Project (aka TRIP) will host "TRIP Nights" at the Washington West Project (1201 Locust Street). TRIP Nights offers a safe space for gay/bisexual men of color to come and express themselves in a freeing environment with peers along with providing testing for attendees.

TRIP Nights offer free food, Septa tokens, raffles and prizes as well.  No appointment is needed, and when you come to Wash West we can also refer you to additional health services and LGBTQ resources in the area.

What's more, between March and May, TRIP is presenting a testing challenge for Philly's LGBTQ community of color.  Everyone who gets tested at a TRIP Night event will be entered into a raffle, in the lead up to our June 3 "Hard Candy Bash" event - featuring the Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia!  (Click here for more info.)
