Community Outreach

As part of our commitment to raising awareness about LGBTQ sexual health and HIV/STI prevention and other issues affecting the populations we serve, our community engagement and outreach teams perform education and outreach work in a variety of settings and contexts.

The L.O.V.E Project

Our goal is to understand what matters most in the BIPOC MSM, trans, and non-binary community and promote access to prevention services. The L.O.V.E Project will achieve this goal through community engagement, removing barriers to entry and service engagement, and to remove any barriers that may hinder individuals from receiving access to sexual health services.

OUR Way

Born out of an HIV testing initiative in 2017, OUR (On-hand Unique Resources) Way quickly morphed into a weekly drop-in program (OUR Space at OUR Way) intended to “meet trans individuals where they are” and helping trans individuals get the services, resources, and support they need.

Condom Distribution

As part of our commitment to raising awareness about sexual health and HIV/STI prevention, and encouraging LGBTQ community members to practice safer sex, Mazzoni Center’s community engagement and outreach team distributes condoms free of charge in a variety of settings and contexts.
