Mobile testing unit (MTU)

Mazzoni Center’s Mobile Testing Unit was developed to make HIV testing accessible and convenient to people all over the city, and to help raise awareness about the importance of testing and knowing your status.  Staffed by a friendly, dedicated team of HIV prevention counselors, our MTU brings free, rapid HIV testing to neighborhoods across Philadelphia.
The MTU is deployed to a series of regular sites a few days each week, listed below, and can be found at annual community events like Philadelphia Gay Pride, AIDS Walk Philly, and the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference.  Our mobile testing and outreach team is also available to provide testing at community health fairs and other special events, by request.
You can find the MTU at these locations each week:

Every Wednesday, 1pm to 4pm - 5th and Lehigh

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday, 1pm to 4pm - CCP at 16th and Spring Garden

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday, 1pm to 4pm - Temple at Broad and Cecile B Moore

Every Monday and Friday, 1pm to 4pm - 23rd and Oregon inside the shopping plaza parking lot

If you would like to host the MTU, please complete and submit this form at least 6 weeks before the date of your event.
