Diane Gibfried, MSS, LCSW


Diane is a licensed clinical social worker who received her MSS from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College.  Diane has experience working in diverse populations in counseling environments including college counseling, community behavioral health, and acute inpatient psychiatric care. Diane offers knowledge of the theoretical foundation of gender identity and sexual orientation combined with warm supportive acceptance and sensitivity to relational dynamics in the room.  Diane’s work utilizes a Gestalt perspective with attention to embodiment of emotional issues from  earlier experiences and effects on behaviors and cognitions in the present.  Diane has an interest in working with people of all ages presenting with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, bereavement and loss and relational issues.
