A former community and labor organizer, Geoff honed his legal skills as a litigator with the City of Philadelphia and Ballard Spahr LLP, and later in his own practice. He brings considerable knowledge and expertise in employment and labor law to Mazzoni Center, having advised a broad range of clients on many topics, including employment best practices, EEO compliance, and ADA, FMLA, and wage and hour issues. Geoff’s ties to Mazzoni Center run deep, both as a community member and as a former law student intern at the Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights, the precursor to Mazzoni Center’s current Legal Services program.
He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and a B.A. in history from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey—New Brunswick.
