Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Jessica obtained her first Nursing Degree from the Community College of Philadelphia. She holds a BS in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, Master in Nursing Education from Drexel University and a Post Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University. Jessica also holds a certification in addictions as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the International Nurses Society on Addictions.  Jessica has enjoyed living in Philadelphia over the last 13 years. Throughout her career, she has relocated briefly to other cities but has always happily returned to Philadelphia.  Jessica has worked to serve underserved communities and advocate for social justice as it relates to healthcare. She has held various clinical leadership and operational roles and has worked in direct care roles from small rural facilities to large metropolitan healthcare systems. She has also had the pleasure of teaching nursing as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania.  She spent many years working within the correctional health care field and is very passionate about the quality of patient-centered care provided within that community. Most recently she worked to promote quality health care within the framework of correctional health services that included major modifications to electronic health records and other clinical applications.
