Professional Development Specialist
Talia Daglieri is excited to join the Education Department as the Professional Development Specialist, where she will primarily work with staff in behavioral health and professional settings. Talia became interested in gender and sexuality while earning her B.A. in Psychology, and minor in Religious Studies, at Salve Regina University. Post-graduation, she worked at a sexual resource center and yoga & wellness center where she was able to continue learning about gender, sexuality, and wellness practices, and then moved to New York City in 2013 to earn her Master of Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work.
Talia has worked with LGBTQ youth and adults within high school, higher education, and non-profit settings, as well as advocated for and counseled LGBTQ survivors of violence. Talia is passionate about social and restorative justice and the holistic intersections of identities, experiences, and wellness. She is eager to support professionals in their journey of understanding tangible ways to support LGBTQ+ individuals in their personal and professional lives.
