About the Professional Track
The Professional Track of the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference is currently in its 7th year and will take place August 2-3, 2018 at the Philadelphia Convention Center (1301 N. Arch St. entrance). This track is designed to provide professionals from multiple disciplines with a variety of learning opportunities, equipping them with the tools and resources necessary to provide comprehensive services to our transgender community members.
We offer credits and programming in 4 areas (detailed below) and welcome student/non-credit seeking attendees. The 2018 schedule will be posted in late April & registration for the conference will open May 1. Seats are limited! Register early to secure your spot and to receive the advanced registration price. Professional Track Areas
There are two rooms of behavioral health workshops that will offer 12 hours of programming. We anticipate medical track workshops to also be approved for behavioral health professionals, as well as some other conference offerings. The conference schedule will tell you which workshops have been approved.
CEU certificates for behavioral health specialists will be accredited by NASW-PA (pending application approval). Psychologists, please note: We do not offer APA accredited courses, however CME credits may pertain to your license.
There are two rooms of medical workshops that will offer12 hours of programming. We anticipate behavioral health track workshops to also be approved for medical professionals, as well as some other conference offerings. The conference schedule will tell you which workshops have been approved.
CME and CNE certificates for medical providers will be accredited by GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality (pending application approval).
There will be one room of legal track workshops that will offer12 hours of programming. Some additional workshops may also be approved for legal credits. Please check schedule for details.
CLE certificates for attorneys, law students and legal professionals will be accredited through the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board (pending application approval).
There will be one room of education track workshops that will offer 12 hours of programming. Some additional workshops may also be approved for legal credits. Please check schedule for details.
Education Professionals in the state of Pennsylvania will be eligible for Act 48 credits. Mazzoni Center is an approved provider of Act 48 credits.
Other Programming Outside of the Professional Track
There is no shortage of events happening at PTWC 2018! We encourage you to attend the wide-ranging selections of sessions in our General Conference- which continue into the evenings and all day Saturday, to attend the WPATH graduate research symposium, and to peruse the exhibiter tables You are additionally invited to attend the evening events such as Opening Night Reception and the Professional Track Mixer. All of these events are included in your professional track registration.

A 50% refund will be provided if registration is cancelled prior to July 1. Please note we are unable to offer refunds after this date.
Once online registration is closed, participants will need to register on-site on a first come, first serve basis at the walk-in registration rate.
