We are pleased to announce it has received a $25,000 grant from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) for its 2019 Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (PTWC), taking place July 25-27, 2019 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia.
“The Philadelphia Department of Public Health is proud to continue to support the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference in 2019,” said Coleman Terrell, Director, AIDS Activities Coordinating Office, PDPH, “This conference serves as a critical space for transgender, gender non-conforming persons, and their family and friends to seek important information and find community. This support is one important component of PDPH's work to prioritize programs for transgender individuals in the City.”

The Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference, a program of Mazzoni Center, was created to educate and empower trans, gender non-conforming, and non-binary individuals on issues of health and well-being, and educate and inform allies and health service providers, and to facilitate networking and community building.
