Mazzoni Center Announces Dates for 2018 Welness Trans Wellness Conference

Mazzoni Center Announces Dates for 2018 Trans Wellness Conference
Mazzoni Center is pleased to announce the 17th annual Philadelphia Trans Health Conference, which has been renamed Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (PTWC), will be held August 2-4, 2018, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The name was changed to reflect the broad scope of offerings available at the conference which cover more than physical well-being.
The PTWC has grown steadily over the last few years, attracting nearly 7,000 participants in 2017. Now in its 17th year, PTWC is arguably the largest trans conference in the world.
The General conference is free, and gives participants access to workshops on a broad range of topics relevant to the trans community. The conference also offers workshops, spaces and experiences specifically for trans youth.
There is also a Professional Track whose workshops in education, medicine, behavioral health, social work, and legal services qualify for continuing education credits. Cost for Professional Track registration varies based on courses and credits.
Visit the Trans Wellness Conference webpage at for detailed information on the conference as well as well as the process to submit a proposal for a workshop, or to become a sponsor or vendor.
