Seeing Myself in the Bible: How Gender Minorities in Scripture Strengthen Our Faith

Have you ever wondered if there were gender-diverse people in Biblical times? Have you ever wished you could find a way to reconcile your faith and your gender identity into a more complete sense of self? This workshop seeks to give trans folks the tools to dig into scripture and see the role that gender minorities play in the Biblical story. This workshop will explore texts from both the Hebrew Scriptures/Old Testament and the Christian Scriptures/New Testament.

Intended audience(s)

This workshop is intended for anyone curious about scripture, biblical study, and living out faith. No prior knowledge is required. This workshop respectfully welcomes people of all faiths, though the experience of the presenter is largely based in Christianity.
