Unpacking Emotional Abuse

Emotional abuse & manipulation can be incredibly damaging, but tough to identify. In fact, our society is built on abusive and manipulative behaviors - so how are we supposed to learn how to engage with each other in healthy ways? Like physical abuse, the consequences of emotional abuse can be subtle or drastic, and often long-lasting. In this workshop, we’ll discuss signs and symptoms, how to interrupt the cycle, and strategies for healing. Participants will share and learn tools for preventing and responding to abuse - because everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.
