Dylan Van Duyne is a former high school educator and is currently a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practitioner within the School District of Philadelphia. He has a deep professional background in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion facilitation and social justice education, providing folks with the skills and knowledge to create conditions for actionable change in their communities. Outside of his work in education, he is a also a group fitness instructor at Barry's Philadelphia.

Why did you choose to become a member of the Mazzoni Center Board?

My professional "why" has always been working to advance equity amongst the most marginalized populations.  As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I was searching for how I could bring my professional skills, background and expertise to an organization working to advance equity for the LGBTQ+ population across the city, so the Mazzoni Center was my first choice.
