Mazzoni Center’s Pediatric & Adolescent Comprehensive Transgender Services program, also known as PACTS, is the only community-based program of its kind in the Philadelphia area.
 
We recognize that trans youth and their families have specific needs and questions, and we have developed a comprehensive approach to addressing them. 
 
Our collaborative approach to care draws on the input and expertise of multiple departments within Mazzoni Center - medical providers, social workers, therapists, and legal staff - to provide the best possible care for clients.  We use an informed consent model, assessing current knowledge and educating the family about treatment options and other medical issues surrounding the social and medical transition process. 
 
The PACTS Team works together to form a comprehensive and individual treatment plan for each patient and family. Mazzoni Center is committed to ensuring that all families have access to quality care. We accept most insurances and have an affordable sliding scale for those who are uninsured. This makes previously unattainable family and community health care possible for many people.
 
Our goal is to provide quality care in an affordable and culturally sensitive environment.  We want families to know they are not alone, and to be able to access the many supports and resources that can help them make this journey together.  
 

How To Set up An Appointment

Via Phone: Call us at 215-563-0658 (Option 1) to speak with our front desk staff who will be able to assist you with any of your needs. Call Hours: Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm

Via Patient Portal: Already have an account? Send us a message to schedule. New to our practice? Register for our portal by following the link below. When prompted to choose a clinical provider please choose any provider as this is a placeholder and a registrar will connect you with the appropriate provider based on your service needs. Once you register an auto message will be sent to our registrar team, who will send a message back through the portal shortly inquiring about what services you are looking for.
