Alecia Manley has over twenty years of experience in health and human services leadership, with a career dedicated to strengthening community-based care for HIV-positive and LGBTQ+ populations. They joined Mazzoni Center in 2001 as a Medical Case Manager, advanced to Care Services Director in 2005, and currently serve as Chief Operating Officer.

Throughout their tenure, Alecia has led the growth and integration of complex service delivery systems, expanding programs from HIV-specific social services into comprehensive, multidisciplinary models of care. Their leadership has included oversight of medical case management, food access and housing assistance programs, adolescent-focused services, education, and community-based initiatives, with a focus on building sustainable operations that improve access and coordination across services.

Alecia brings deep expertise in organizational systems design, cross-functional integration, and operational strategy. They are known for developing structures that support effective teams, align programs across clinical and non-clinical functions, and enable organizations to scale thoughtfully while remaining responsive to community needs. In 2014, Alecia collaborated with Temple University’s School of Social Work on applied research examining how health care delivery models influence access to care for LGBTQ youth, contributing to evidence-informed program design.

Alecia is particularly passionate about creating operational environments that foster accountability, inclusion, and collaboration. Their work emphasizes data-informed decision-making, continuous improvement, and building organizational infrastructure that supports both mission impact and staff effectiveness.

Alecia holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bucknell University, an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from La Salle University, and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
