Clay Klaus-Wade

Board Member

Board Member since 2024

Clay is a native New Yorker who chose to make Philadelphia his new hometown in 2021, along with his husband Joe and their cats Manolo and Margo. Clay holds a bachelor's degree in public affairs and a master's degree in public policy. He currently works as a growth manager for Patina, a primary care provider exclusively for people ages 65+. When not working, Clay can be found hiking and visiting national parks, reading, at a Phillies game, spending time with friends, or comfortably on the couch binge-watching Below Deck.

Why did you choose to become a member of the Mazzoni Center Board?

Clay believes that every queer person has the right to high-quality healthcare, and access to providers who understand them and can meet their needs. Mazzoni Center is an invaluable asset to Philadelphia's LGBTQ+ community, and Clay is so proud to be serving the Center in this capacity.
