A highly seasoned senior healthcare leader with nearly four decades of experience in global biopharmaceutical research and development, Simon has held senior roles in clinical research, education, quality, and risk management, leading international teams and overseeing multimillion-dollar operations. He joined the Mazzoni Center Board of Directors in January 2024 and was appointed Board Secretary in July of that year. He stepped into the role of Interim CEO in March 2025, where he quickly demonstrated his ability to lead with transparency, resilience, and strategic clarity during a time of organizational transition and was appointed to the role of permanent CEO in September 2025. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, has lived in the Philadelphia area since 2002, and is an active member of the community.
