As Pride Month came to a close, Wil Vickroy, Mazzoni Center’s Director of Clinical Research, wrote an article for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals on the importance of representation, access, and inclusion in clinical research. He argues that the research enterprise we depend on today was shaped in meaningful ways by LGBTQ+ activists—and that conducting and participating in inclusive research continues that legacy.
