Behavioral Health Internship
The Internship is currently closed. Applications will only be accepted beginning on December 1.
Our Behavioral Health program provides a limited number of internship opportunities to second-year Master's level students in the areas of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling Psychology (or other closely related fields). Internships are for a minimum of two semesters. Preference is given to those students whose placement extends for one year (Summer/Fall/Spring).
Internship tasks in behavioral health include conducting intake assessments, providing therapy, group facilitation, gender-supportive services, development of community resources, and other special projects that align with learning goals.
Due to the high volume of applicants, only those best meeting the criteria will be contacted for an interview.
Please note: Practicum placements (one semester) will only be considered if applying for the internship. We will not accept students for less than two semesters, and preference is given to those students whose placement extends for one year (Summer/Fall/Spring).
Submissions
To be considered for an internship, interested students must complete the application (See below) and then submit their resume/CV along with the form.
