Each year, through our of behavioral health and legal services programs, we offer a limited number of unpaid internship opportunities to qualified Master's level students in the areas of Law, Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling Psychology (or other closely related fields).
Our Behavioral Health program provides a limited number of internship opportunities to second year Master's level students in the areas of Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling Psychology (or other closely related fields). Internships are for a minimum of two semesters. Preference is given to those students whose placement extends for one year (Summer/Fall/Spring). Internship tasks in behavioral health include conducting intake assessments, providing therapy, group facilitation, gender-supportive services*, development of community resources and other special projects that align with learning goals.
*Gender Affirming Services Internship is now a part of the Behavioral Health Internship program.
Our Legal Services program offers a limited number of internship opportunities to law students every Summer and also in the Fall and Spring Academic Terms. Interns are critical to our legal services program’s ability to manage the volume of requests for our assistance, and to handle the cases that comprise our caseload.
