Behavioral Health Internships
Behavioral Health Internships
Our Behavioral Health program provides a limited number of internship opportunities to second year Master's level students in the areas of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling Psychology (or other closely related fields). Internships are for a minimum of two semesters. Preference is given to those students whose placement extends for one year (Summer/Fall/Spring). Internship tasks in behavioral health include conducting intake assessments, providing therapy, group facilitation, development of community resources and other special projects that align with learning goals.
Advanced year students with previous counseling experience and a commitment to clinical work with LGBTQ populations are preferred, as well as those representing diverse life experiences, backgrounds and identities.
