Sadly, today the Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted to pass HB 972, trying to keep trans women and girls from joining school teams with their peers. On Friday, the Pennsylvania Senate introduced a bill that is moving forward rapidly. These bills are racing past the problems our communities face. Instead of helping anyone, they block trans women and girls from joining school teams with their classmates. 

Mazzoni Center is committed to providing support for trans women and girls, and to people of all genders. We stand for fairness and dignity, and we stand against efforts to divide us and distract us from working together to make our communities, our schools, and our teams better for everyone of all genders. 



We strongly oppose this legislation and we will update the post as calls to action are shared.
