You may be aware that, for many years, Mazzoni Center has had a practice of closing for client services on the 3rd Thursday of every month for internal administrative meetings. Beginning this month, that will change, as we’ll be shifting to closing for just the morning on the 3rd Friday of every month, reopening for client services at Bainbridge and Washington West at 1:00 pm. 

That seemingly small change will result in a significant impact, including:

• 124 additional patient appointments in the medical center each month.
•  Being able to address urgent needs on Admin Days, including triage phone calls, patient portal messages, and urgent lab results, the same day.
•  Over 50 additional food bank client visits per month.
•  Additional case management shifts to support 30 clients every month.
