LGBTQ+ Interpersonal Violence Trainings

Mazzoni Center's Education Department offers a set of grant-funded educational services focusing on LGBTQ+ communities' experiences of interpersonal violence (IPV) that are available free of charge.

These programs aim to expand the scope of competent care available to LGBTQ survivors of IPV in Philadelphia through:

  1. Trainings for professionals to build knowledge and skills to provide culturally competent, intersectional, trauma-informed services for LGBTQ+ survivors of IPV
  2. Educational groups aimed at learning and practicing healthy relationship behaviors
  3. Awareness month programming
  4. Relationship-building with Philadelphia organizations that share a commitment to this work

LGBTQ+ survivors of interpersonal violence deserve access to safe, competent, and affirming services in Philadelphia.

This programming is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, and was developed with consultation from Women Against Abuse (WAA).
