Mazzoni Center Service Updates: Initial Green Phase

The City of Philadelphia has now moved into an initial green phase of activities on July 3. This included:

  •     Residential swimming pools and private swim clubs
  •     Zoos (outside only)
  •     Personal services such as salons, barbers, and spas
  •     Small indoor social and religious gatherings (up to 25 people)
  •     Casinos
  •     Indoor shopping malls
  •     Museums and libraries
  •     Outdoor group recreational and sports activities for youth and adults
  •     Outdoor performances and small outdoor events (up to 50 people)
  •     Schools and colleges
  •     Gyms and indoor exercise classes

Mazzoni Center programs and services under this phase is as follows:


Health Center

Health Center Appointments Hours :

Monday - Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM

Please DO NOT walk into our main office without an appointment.

Have an urgent medical need?

Contact our On Call Service at 570-820-9038 and identify yourself as a Mazzoni Center patient.

Need a prescription refill?

Contact your pharmacy and have them send us a refill request as normal.

MazzoniGo

MazzoniGo was developed in response to the coronavirus outbreak and allows Mazzoni Center to provide outside lab services (immunizations, shots that can be given in the arm, oral swabs, swab drop off and finger stick tests) to limit patient/staff exposure.

MazzoniGo will scheduled patients for these appointments by request through their provider.

COVID testing

COVID testing is limited to Mazzoni Center patients who meet CDC criteria but also for folks who need testing to return to work or otherwise do not meet current criteria for other locations, and patients who will only come to Mazzoni Center because they know they will receive respectful LGBTQ competent care.

We are taking every step to ensure that those who need HIV test kits, get them. If you or anyone you know would like a take home HIV test kit please call our Washington West Call Center at 215-563-0659 Monday through Friday, 9AM To 12PM or 1PM to 4PM.

PrEP & PEP

If you are HIV negative and think you have potentially been exposed to HIV in the last 72 hours and would like PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) call our Navigation Specialist Monday through Friday at 267-817-8399, extension 389.

If you are HIV negative and interested in PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) to reduce the possibility of HIV transmission, need insurance navigation assistance, or other service linkage information and referrals call our Navigation Specialist Monday through Fridayat 267-817-8399, extension 389.

LINKAGE To Care

If you newly diagnosed HIV positive or have been previously diagnosed HIV positive and have questions about living with HIV, need information, or need assistance with linkage to health care, case management, medication, partner services and other services call our Linkage Coordinator Monday through Friday from 1PM to 4PM at 267-817-8399, extension 391
