This past year, Mazzoni Center saw a gentle return to normalcy. We re-engaged with the community and saw people face-to-face. And it was great to see you.  In recent months, we hosted vaccination events throughout the city, welcomed small volunteer groups back into our building, and resumed having a presence at community events.  

The time apart showed us just how important being together is to Mazzoni Center’s mission. As we look to 2022, we will have even more chances to interact with you.  

We are also eager for you to meet our new President and Executive Officer Sultan Shakir, who will officially assume the role in early January. Next year will bring a new chapter for our organization. We are excited to see where new leadership will take Mazzoni Center. We will surely see many changes that will benefit our organization—and YOU, the community we serve.
