Megan Crofford-Hotz, MSW, LCSW, MEd, PhD
Megan received her Master of Social Work from Widener University, where she also completed a Master of Education and a PhD in human sexuality. As a result of her background as a sexuality educator and researcher, Megan often uses psychoeducation in sessions and groups.
In addition she uses elements from various therapeutic approaches, including motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, affirmative therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Her background is in community mental health, working with a variety of populations including mood disorders, impulse control disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She specializes in relationships, sexual orientation, and gender identity, and uses a trauma informed, recovery oriented approach.
